The Beech Knife is the Smoother grained knife in the Pictures.

Sho Sugi Ban is a method of Japanese Wood Preservation, Where the Wood is burnt, brushed and oiled, Also called Yakasugi Woodburning. The result is a layer of charring on the outer of the wood which makes it water, fire and decay resistant. It was commonly used on house cladding and furniture for its long lasting qualities.
After the woodburning process, the handles are soaked in Boiled linseed oil for 24 hours.

The Opinels have had the neck lock removed from them to make them UK legal carry (They are less than 3” blades and do not Lock) Upon Purchase the neck lock ring will be sent along with the knife and can be reattached if desired. (Contact me after purchase and I can reattach it before sending it)

The combination of Carbon and Yakasugi Style handle means you don’t have to worry about getting your knife dull as fast as a quick strop it’ll be good as new, The perfect pocket companion!
