This Norse inspired bushcrafter takes inspiration from the broken back seax style blade, mixed with the dependability of a Scandi grind and the security of a full tang handle, designed to excel at chopping and splitting whist also being light enough for controlled and careful carving and feathersticking.
Ash handle scales with brass pins and lanyard hole, Soaked in boiled Linseed oil and then waxes for improved resistance to the elements.
The edge is a razor sharp Scandi Grind, perfect for green wood carving and Bushcraft.
The blade is made from 4mm 80crv2 carbon steel, Hardened to 65 HRC and Tempered to 59-60.
The spine is flat at 90 degrees, Perfect for striking Ferro rods, There is also a choil which is ideal for striking ferro rods as the rounded edge matches the curvature of the rod.
Comes with a 4mm thick brown leather leather sheath with a cork welt and custom stitching colours, The leather is waxed and then sealed for weatherproofing.
